• We war 3 times a week, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  War search time starts at around 6:00-7:00 a.m. PST.  If you opt into war and fail to make both your attacks, you may be kicked.  If you miss making both your attacks, you’ll need to opt-out wars for at least 2 wars. If you hold a leadership position and miss an attack, you’ll lose your promotion.  Occasionally war search will take several hours to match us up on an opponent which will cause the war to start to be later than 7:00 a.m. the next day.
  • To get into a war, you need to be in the clan for 3 days for the NEW tag to come off your name and the leaders need to know you are active.  If you are a th10 or above, it may take more than 3 days to get into a war.  We have to know we can count on you to participate in each war.
  • You need to make both attacks in each war with a full clan castle and with non-farming armies if you weren't already opted out of the war.
  • Everyone is expected to make their first war attack within the first 8 hours of war started. If you are late, you could end up being sat out of the next 2 wars. Continually being late will get you kicked to a different clan that plays more casually.
  • If you are late to the war, we will most likely hit over you. We generally don’t “hold” bases open at the bottom in war unless we have to for strategy purposes. Attacking late in war hurts the clan's chances of winning the war.  When the clan mail goes out on assignments for clean up, we expect you to get online fairly soon after to make your attacks.  Generally, no one besides the #1 or #2 in war should be making attacks in the last 4 hours of the war.
  • Always make your strongest attack (no farming attacks in wars).
  1. For TH6 and below, it should be either a loon attack or giant/healer combination.
  2. For TH7 and TH8, you should probably be using dragons or golems hogs and wiz.
  3. For TH9, it should be dragons, lava loon, golems hogs valks, etc.
  4. Don’t try to be “cheap” with Elixer and dark Elixer in preparing your war armies. That shows the clan you aren’t committed to winning wars and you’ll get invited to clash in another clan.
  • No opting out of the war for weeks at a time (no camping). The occasional opt-out for upgrading a Hero or spell factory is allowed.  It is highly encouraged that you do not war without your Queen if you are TH9 and above.  If you need to opt-out of war due to scheduling conflicts please do so (remember–we don’t know your personal schedule). Just be advised that if we need room in the clan for more active players, you may be moved on. Active accounts where we know you and you have good donations are less likely to be moved on if they opt-out of wars more often.  We are loyal to the players that are loyal to the clan.
  • For all of the TH7 and lower bases in the clan: we encourage lower level bases to be in our clan. We want active players for war. We put lower TH bases in a war for balancing purposes so we get more even match-ups.  If you are a TH8 or below, you are required to make your first attack in the first 2 hours of war start and if you are a TH9, you should make your first war attack within the first 3 hours of war started. If you can’t do that then move on. You won’t help us in clan wars.
  • Co-Leaders run wars, assign clan castle fill assignments and determine the war strategy.  If they are not a co-leader then you should not listen to them on who to attack in wars.
  • Check the clan mail for war assignments and clean up target assignments.  If there is no clan mail, then we hit 1 down. If you aren’t sure who you are supposed to hit on clean-up, ask a co-leader.  We will post messages in clan chat and we also post messages on Discord for offline viewing.
  • If you are at TH8 or below, then we expect you to make your first attack as soon as war starts and to have two full war armies cooked up so you can make back to back attacks.  Your first war target will be assigned in the clan mail.  Check with a Co-Leader on clan chat to see who should be your second target.  Wars generally start around 8am PST, so plan ahead if you opt in to attack at the start.  If you don’t have 2 war armies cooked when you attack, you will be kicked.
  • If you cannot hit at the start of the war, that should be communicated to a co-leader before war starts and you need to be prepared to commit to hitting in the 8-hour window.  We don’t want to guess who will be making their attacks and who won’t be able to make it.  Communicate or you’ll need to find another clan.  TH8’s and below still need to hit within the first 2 hours of war started.  If you can’t for a particular war, and you have communicated that to a co-leader, then we will not kick you.  But you have the burden of communicating.
  • We do not make loot attacks. If you are late to war you will be hitting a much higher townhall base. If that’s a problem, don’t be late to war or find another clan. Loot attacks encourage people to be late to war and then they can sit back and hit an easy target which doesn’t help the clan win wars.
  • Engineered bases:  In an effort to create better war matchmaking, we encourage some engineering of bases.  What we suggest is that all bases have maximum troops and hero levels for that TH level with max level walls.  We expect you will max those items out before you go up to the next TH level.  As leaders evaluate your base for including you in wars, you are expected to be able to 3 stars or nearly 3 star your same ranked opponent.  Engineering your base slightly as stated above we feel will help you make those kinds of quality attacks.  As Clash modifies your war matchmaking, we will modify this policy as needed.  Ask a co-leader if you have any questions.
Do not join this clan if you cannot follow these rules.  You’ll just get kicked and waste everyone’s time.  By reading the pages on this site and requesting to join the TEC Clashzz clan, you are agreeing to abide by all the rules.
